Shannon Nishio joined the Carlson Hammond team in 2013 following her work at a large private insurance brokerage in Seattle, WA. With 10 years of industry experience, she specializes in helping clients and advisors with implementation and administration of large insurance plans including uses for estate planning, wealth transfer, business protection and group insurance benefits.

A University of Washington graduate, Shannon holds a BA in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and Marketing. She is a registered representative of M Holdings Securities and has insurance licenses in both Hawaii and Washington State. She currently serves as a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii Alliance Board, National Association of Insurance and Financial Professionals (NAIFA), and an associate member of the Hawaii Estate Planning Council. In her free time you can find her surfing ankle-biting waves or searching for her next favorite meal.
